Destination Consultant

Are you moving to LA or thinking about moving to LA?

If you’re planning to move to LA It Started in LA is now offering Destination Services.

I’m a Destination Consultant for LA and surrounding neighbourhoods which means I can help you navigate where to live, how to settle yourself, finding the right school (or at the very least navigating the American/LA school system) and settling into LA.

As an Australian who moved to LA five years ago I’ve not only been through the process, I managed to get my kids into school, move schools, get one into College and navigated the bureaucracy of the DMV, IRS and social security.

Specialising in helping people in the Entertainment Industry (but not limited to!) move and settle in LA we can help with:

  • Finding the right area for you to live in that suits your needs—and that of your family
  • Help navigating the schooling system in LA providing advice on the difference between private and public schools and coming up with a plan to shortlist and identify schools for your children
  • Navigating the DMV and other bureaucratic must-dos
  • Opening bank accounts and providing advice on quickly establishing credit
  • Tips and advice on settling into LA and understanding its culture
  • Restaurants, things to do and where to go to embrace all LA has to offer.
In addition we can help with your real estate and interior design needs.
